Solar DC cables manufactured in accordance with the latest European standard EN 50618, uniformly named H1Z2Z2-K, are designated lines for photovoltaic (PV) systems, especially for installation between nominal DC conductors on the direct current (DC) side and The voltage between conductor and ground shall not exceed 1.5kV and shall not exceed 1800V. EN 50618 requires low smoke zero halogen cables and flexible tinned copper conductors with single core cross-linked insulation and jacket. Cables must be tested at 11kV AC 50Hz and operate over a temperature range of -40 o C to +90 o C. The H1Z2Z2-K replaces the previous TV-approved
