The U.S. Army deploys its first floating photovoltaic power plant

Floating solar power technology was in The spotlight last weekend when The U.S. Army unveiled a new solar farm on Big Muddy Lake at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, according to The Verge. It is the first floating solar array deployed by the US Department of Defense and is part of growing US support for "floating photovoltaics".
